Just watched the news at 11 and saw the horrific murder of an unarmed brother at the hands of the NYPD!!!
These murders of black men are constantly paid lip service, swept under the rug, easily forgotten, and or blamed on the victims.
Their killers are supposedly sworn to protect and serve. It’s is clear that the lay men’s definition of protect and serve isn’t the same as what it means for police.
It appears the cops are protecting and serving unarmed black men to death literally.
Why is it we have to walk the streets and be targeted simply because of the color of our skin, be killed by cops and treated as an after thought?
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of the murdered brother, his family and children left behind.
I pray for the souls of those evil cops who took away that man’s life for nothing.
Seeing the video is beyond disturbing. Witnessing such an unnecessary and violent end of another human beings life is something I wish I could remove from my mind.
I could literally feel the fear and frustration in his voice throughout his encounter with the NYPD until his death at their hands.
These cops should be arrested, stripped of their badges, prosecuted and serve prison time for killing this man for no reason with an illegal choke hold.
The same Chokehold Johnnie Cochran fought against and successfully got removed from the police department use in California.
I pray for all of us Black men dealing with the daily struggle and burden of simply being who we are. For all of us daring to claim our God given right to exist. R.I.P brother.
Fuck the Police!!!
