It’s been a while since I updated the shots I’ve taken day tripping around the city. The following are just a sample of some images I shot walking the city this past Labor Day. Columbus Circle Area

Times Square Shots 4 From Times Square to Central Park Central Park "Mini Amusement Park" Came across this mini Amusement Park reminding me of some of the few fun times as a kid I got to enjoy going on rides at an Amusement Park. Central Park Labor Day Musicians In The Park This is just an awesome and classic Central Park scene. Central Park Scenes 3 Approaching the never-ending scene of park goers wanting to snap a shot with Alice In Wonderland’s statues. I think you’d need a permit to keep people out of the way long enough to shoot this scene without someone in it lol. Alice In Wonderland Statues 2

This would be as good as it got. The Stage Central Park As I passed by here I came across a man blowing giant bubbles for the kids… The Man & His Bubbles Hope you enjoyed my little sample.

Welcome to THEJNSREPORT’S: Images of The Day: Central Park

Summer in NYC is definitely one of my favorite times of the year. Without further ado here’s some shots taken in Central Park this Summer.The color of the water might not be so great but the scene in the background is perfect.People out enjoying the sun and boating around the lake in central park on a glorious Summer day. This water fountain always attracts lots of people be it locals or tourists to it for photo ops and selfies. It’s hard to get a shot of it completely devoid of people.Last shot I leave you with is this close up of the fountain. All I can say is patience is truly a virtue. Stay tuned I’ll return with more cool shots as Summer winds down and we prepare for Labor Day Weekend.

Welcome to THEJNSREPORT’S: Scenes From Central Park

Winding our way thru the park and encountering a huge pond. We paused to look at the scene on the water.

As a kid I always thought these little radio controlled boats were so cool.

Heard em singing while venturing deeper into Central Park.From here we came upon the Central Park Boat House.We’ll have to stop in here next time thru.Right up the way from the Boathouse on the right hand side of the path we encountered yet again the ducks/geese. The girl on the left is giving the camera so much face!!! It’s that high fashion model look. lolLook mom there’s an angel in the water. Moving on from here crossing the park a scene was unfolding in the water below.This was being filmed as we crossed the park. The infamous pirate ship scene.

Welcome to THEJNSREPORT’S: Central Park “Spring” 2014 Location: Duh..Central Park, 2pm

On a day my friend and I decided to get out and enjoy a beautiful day out in Central Park we walked through the park on a way that I hadn’t been thru Central Park before. Shame on me a native new yorker but the great thing is, it’s never to late to learn something or discover something new. Black Trees

Entering Central park from the upper east side and 5th ave led to a cross the park hike up and down and slight inclines and declines in the trail which is being given a face lift from it’s previous decades. Benches

The sight of the canoes gave me flashbacks to child hood sleep away camp Summer’s gone by.

This is what you will encounter more and more throughout the park as Spring unfolds more slowly this year than I remember in recent years. Next on our way through the park we encountered multiple bird feeders in the trees along the paths. Immediately captivated by the different colors on display we got a little caught up “bird watching”. 😉
